Just a place for us to put character sheets for our various stories so we can keep them straight and access them easily.

Name: Seneca

Age: 21

Appearance: Shoulder length red/black hair. White eyes. Tan skin. Athletic build. 5'7". 125lbs.

Personality: When she meets new people she is very open and friendly, though she does not offer anything more than an acquaintance status. She does not have friends, she does not want friends, she has no need for them. People die, and she would rather not face the loss. When she goes on a job her personality is much different, she is very stoic and serious, especially when it comes down to her sniping ability.

Strengths: Seneca is physically strong, and very street smart. She can fight hand to hand, and also with some firearms.

Weaknesses: Being a soldier she has a form of PTSD and it can get out of control if she does not keep an eye on it. She isn't very book smart, but is in no way stupid. Mission oriented to a fault, if she doesn't complete the mission with one shot, she will put herself in harms way to complete it. Even being as strong as she is, she has little stamina. If she doesn't end a fight quickly she starts to lose stamina.

Some Background: Seneca was raised to be a soldier from the time she could walk. Her family was full of officers, and grunts within the ranks. So, before the Blackout, she was ready for anything and everything that could be thrown at her. Unfortunately that's what happened. At the beginning of the Blackout, she was dropped in Brazil having no knowledge of the terrain. She was given a small packet and had used that to navigate, finish her mission, and get correspondence to those pulling her out. Over the years, she had honed her skills, and was now a great survivalist. Having been in nearly every terrain imaginable, she knew enough about surviving that she could go for weeks with no human interaction, and not starve to death, or dehydrate.

Name: Kase Tarson, goes by Tars.

Age: 23

Appearance: 5'9", 150lbs, finger length dark brown hair, blue deeply-set eyes, burn scars on his neck and arms, slash mark from an animal from left shoulder to right hip, double spike piercing under his bottom lip, tattoo on right forearm of a clock with a broken face and bent hands.

Personality: Odd, talks to himself a lot, mumbles, socially anxious, abrupt, focused, nerdy

Strengths: Incredibly smart, fast, improvisational, ranged combat, independent from humans, amazing memory

Weaknesses: over curious, physically not strong, occasionally allows himself to be bullied, panic attacks, night terrors

Brief Background: Tars comes from a family of five, in which he is the second oldest. The Autotech war claimed the life of his father and alienated the oldest child, Rachael. His mother raised what remained of the family, never remarrying. His amazing intellect fast-tracked him through school all the way through college. When he came home, he found his house had been burned to the ground. No bodies were ever located.

Tars then became a scavenger, roaming the country, digging up any Autotech he could find either to repurpose or sell. He is still pretty nameless in the business of black market tech dealing, but those who have had dealings with him state that he is the best at what he does.

He lives alone, except for the augmented animals he has come across and managed to domesticate. They are now fiercely loyal to him, and take commands through an illegal neural enhancer attached to his brain stem.

While Tars is combat proficient, he does not consider himself a mercenary or soldier of fortune.

Name: Tor Burneson

Age:
178

Appearance:
Tor can be somewhat daunting in appearance, being tall and muscular, with bluish-gray eyes that could have been chiseled from the finest marble on the planet. It's obvious that he is a scrapper, based on the small random scars adorning his face. One long streak over his left eye looks as if it were not properly stitched, causing a noticeable scar to remain. High cheek bones with a strong jaw give him a sophisticated yet rugged look, like a cowboy of the old west. Tor usually sports a sandy bit of facial hair, too long to be called stubble but not enough to be called a beard.

Upon his head is a batch of slightly curly hair, maybe a few inches long, the color of golden sand with a bit of red mixed in, like muddy blood.

His skin is fair, with a hint of honey from spending time in the sun, though not enough to overcome his Norwegian lineage. The random scars continue down the rest of his body, evidence of battles both lost and won. He is usually seen with his knuckles wrapped in white bandages and tape. Despite his species, he is smooth and hairless from the neck down.

Typical attire for Tor is a black leather jacket, a white or gray t-shirt underneath, and a pair of nice jeans, all of which appear to be brand new. His shoes are somewhat business casual, something that he could wear anywhere but the beach or the running track. He has a good sense of style.

Personality:
Tor is, despite his size, rather sarcastic and carefree, most of the time. He likes to drink, laugh, and generally have a great time, wherever he is. He has had many girlfriends in the past, but none of them can keep up with him, or so he says. In reality, he is pretty rough in and out of bed, which can make things problematic when it comes to girlfriends. He is a commanding individual, and very intelligent; he will use his mind and muscles to his every advantage, and exploit any weakness he can find. Something behind his eyes and his smile hides from plain view, something dark and, perhaps, sadistic. One can see immediately that he is not someone to be contested unless victory is guaranteed.

In stressful times, or during fights, he can be a different person entirely. He takes every fight seriously, and will win by whatever means necessary. The jokes disappear when the fists come up or the fur comes out. Ferocious in battle, Tor's ability to take a hit really shines through. While his offensive capabilities are outstanding, his preferred fighting method while battling a new threat is to absorb damage, soak it up while he learns about his opponent. Then, when the time is right, the strike comes, and no one sees it coming.

Strengths:
excellent fighter, intelligent, well-connected in society, resistant to poisons/diseases

Weaknesses:
stubborn, runs his mouth a lot, part of a dying/dishonored clan, haunted by past, silver weapons

Special: Tor's ability to take a hit comes at a price. He will not feel some damage until after a fight is over, then everything will come in at once. Can cause severe issues if left unchecked.

Brief Background: Tor was born amid the unrest circulating throughout the Lycan communes. Disputes over territories had caused several clans to clash, often violently as they fought to control hunting grounds. The wolves of the north were pushing farther south than ever before, their numbers swelling after the merging of many clans united their cause under a single banner. Tor's group, a pack of Grays in the east, could not stem the tide that was prepared to blanket Norway entirely.

Eventually the Eastern Grays were defeated, and forced to give up their territory to the northern tribes. Tor, and what remained of his pack, left Norway and sought refuge in Europe, in the lands of Austria, Germany, and Bosnia. Since then, they have rebuilt their clan and increased their numbers, both by birthing new pups as well as incorporating many of the independent packs and clanless warriors that roamed the wilds.

Tor's acceptance and tolerance of Vampires and their kin allowed him to form contacts and ties in communities otherwise unavailable to his species, and has made him a perfect candidate for the task of recovering the lost envoy and returning her safely to the Master in California.

Name: Teager Sparrow
Age: 20
Appearance: Teager has the body of a model. She is tall, and thin, with a toned body, muscles hardly seen under the clothes she wears. She's got long strawberry blonde hair, and crystal clear grey green eyes, like pale emeralds. Her skin is smooth, baring no scars, or evidence of her rough and wild nature. Slightly tan from minimal play in the sun, she is not as dark in tan as the rest of her kin.

Normally seen in tight, ripped jeans and spaghetti straps tank tops with Vans on her feet, she is not afraid to let others see her as she is.

Personality: Teager is a wild child. She is still only considered a pup, so it is excusable to be a little ignorant of their customs and not as tame as the adults. But, she is more than that. Teager is upbeat, and unafraid to say whatever comes to mind, lacking a filter between her brain and mouth. There is hardly anything that brings her down, and though she smiles widely and brightly, she hides her pain like a master.

However, she has a temper. In less than a second she can go from the happiest pup on the planet, to a raging dragon. It doesn't last long, but her rage is an issue in her clan. She lashes out without thinking, her sharp tongue and lack of filter getting her into more trouble that she could count.

When Teager doesn't think that anyone is looking, her normally happy-go-lucky attitude vanishes, and she gets a faraway look in her eyes. She hides her pain well, but when she is alone Teager let's it out, whether that be by crying or releasing her pent up anger.

Brief Background: Since she can remember Teager has been loved. Even though she was more wild than her siblings, and the rest of her pack even for a pup, she was always taken care of. Despite her tendency to get into fights, or instigate them, she never felt like she was hated. It was as if they thought she would grow into adulthood with a better attitude and her wild personality would fade and she would mature. They were wrong.

Not only did she not calm down, it got worse. So as she neared her adulthood, the loving environment around her changed dramatically, and while she acted like it never bothered her, it did, and it only made her act out more than normal.

Now at the point where her pack no longer wanted her around, the Alpha chose to send her on the task with an adult, Tor, but was told that even if they were successful in returning the envoy, she was not to come home. Unless she returned in a body bag.

WIP

Name: Ragnar (last name unknown)

Age: TBD

Appearance: His hair color and style tends to change. Currently it's light brown with strands of dirty blond, like corn stalks laid out on dry earth. He is tall and muscular, certainly larger in every proportion to an American. His eyes are blue sapphires that shine in the sunlight and pierce the darkness. He has a medium tan, despite the amount of time he spends in the sun.

Name: Roan Williams
Age: 27

Occupation: Gardener

Appearance: Her hair is jet black, varying on length to suit her. Her eyes shine bright, green sometimes and orange others. Tall and thin, with a few tattoos, her most noticeable on her left arm going from shoulder to hand, a giant octopus, trash polka stlye.

Personality: Roan is very mellow most of the time. She can do many different things, and could have had any profession she would have liked, but as an introvert, she prefers to be alone. Depending on the situation and the people she's around, she can act very differently, adapting to the situation, changing her outward personality to suit the atmosphere. Pink and white is what she's mostly seen in, liking muted colors the best, pastels in her wardrobe.

More to come.

Post by Machine Man Sun Jun 11, 2017 7:33 pm

Name: Michael Allen Seabrook
Age: 29
Occupation: Librarian

Appearance: Michael is of average height, but appears to be very fit. His clothes hold to him well, flattering in some places and conservative in others. Of course he denies that this is anything but coincidence, as he does not usually do his own shopping, even for clothes or other personal items. His nails are clean and but not pristine.

His eyes almost seem to glow teal, they are so bright. His hair is sandy brown, but most of it is buzzed except for a bit on the top. He is scarred from head to toe in many places, ranging from thin cuts to ugly burn scars. Where his eyes were once white, they are now black with a twinge of red. Usually spotted wearing clothes that cover his body almost completely, unless it is late and he is alone. Any time he is in public, his scars are hidden by clothing. His chest and stomach are covered in burn scars, as are his legs. His hands have several cuts on each of them, especially around the knuckles. There are needle marks in his arms. His back is a mixture of both traumas. There are scars under his eyes and hidden by his hair from being beaten repeatedly.

Personality: Michael is extremely reclusive. Due to the abuse and trauma he experienced, he trusts no one except those who are EXTREMELY patient with his new quirks. He has no ambition to be social unless he really doesn't have a choice, and even then he is guarded and standoffish. He puts up a front when he is in the same general area as another person, suspicious and weary of their every move. If someone is close to him and raises a hand, regardless of their intent, he is likely to flinch or shy away.

Unfortunately that abuse took away his gray area when it comes to emotions. He is either at 0% or 100%, never in between. If made angry, he will still shy away until he feels cornered. Then, like a wild animal, he becomes enraged and extremely aggressive, lashing out on anything that could possibly been seen as a threat, whether or not it actually is. This has made it impossible for him to make any friends, simply because no one wants to be around him when that happens.

Background:
Michael's family comes from a small village in Ireland, with such a small population that just about everyone knows each other. Life was simple and quiet there, a farming community well off the beaten path, where people lived around nature and in harmony with each other. There were few grievances between folks, and the isolated times where conflict arose were always squashed quickly. Family feuds simply did not exist. Some people believe that it is because of their good nature that an abnormally high percentage of their population turned out to be dimensionally sensitive.

With a large family, 12 in total, Michael was born smack-dab in the middle. He was a happy and loving child, always ready to give and receive hugs, and to play with the other children, inside and outside of his own siblings. Despite his age, Michael was incredibly intelligent, and could understood concepts far beyond normal, even for an adult. He never threw it in anyone's face, however, and was very respectful to others, even if he knew he was smarter than them.

Even at a young age, Michael showed all the signs of being dimensionally aware, a concept which his family embraced completely. It was an honor to be gifted with that sensitivity, and they celebrated it openly and honestly, even going so far as to hold a celebration, to which the entire town had been invited.

Shortly following his 10th birthday, Michael was walking home from a friends house when he was approached by a tall man in a dark coat. Coming from a village where everyone knew each other, Michael thought nothing of the encounter. The two walked together for a little while, making small talk about nothing in particular. Michael was surprised, however, when the man suddenly grabbed him up and put a rag to his face. He struggled briefly, then went limp in the man's arms.

When he woke up, he found himself changed to a concrete floor, stripped bare in the cold room. For the next several weeks, Michael endured endless torture, horrible things, some of which can never be spoken of. Sometimes his captors would let him believe that he could escape, intentionally leaving the door open, or one of the knots only loosely tied. He would find hope, only to have it crushed when he found his captors waiting for him. Eventually, even when they left windows open for him, he did not take them, for the punishment was always worse after a failed escape attempt.

When he was finally rescued, 56 days had passed. Michael was rushed to a hospital and kept in a medically induced coma in Dublin for two weeks while his body recovered. He had burns covering a significant portion of his body, lacerations, bruises, broken bones, and severe head trauma. The doctors could figure out how most of the damage was inflicted, but some evidence was still left as a mystery. It seemed that blood had filled into Michael's eyes, replacing the milky white with an ominous red, which apparently darkened as time went on. There was some speculation as to whether or not it had blinded him, but that wouldn't be answered until he woke up.

After the two weeks had passed, Michael finally awoke, though he wished like hell that he could just go back to sleep. He hurt all over, constantly, and the constant bombardment of questions made him extremely nervous. For a while he refused to speak to anyone, even his family, though eventually he did start to open up. The case was never resolved after an extensive and exhaustive investigation, which made Michael very anxious about returning home. Rather than subject him to that emotional trauma, Michael's parents turned him over to a 'school' for the dimentionally aware, where he could live in peace and hopefully find some comfort and healing with the leaders there.

Since his arrival, Michael keeps very closely to himself, though there are a few masters there that have earned his trust, at least in a small way. They let him take care of the library, and gave him full permission to read anything he finds there, except the forbidden tomes, though he still reads them anyway.
